The Organic Trust of Australia
Organic Trust Australia – Research and Education (OTARE) was set up as a registered charity to manage funds received from private and public sources for research and education in organic agriculture in Australia.
Donations are tax-deductible.
Agriculture in general has been a major contributor to the environmental problems of our time. Agriculture need not cause such problems.
Organic agriculture enhances soil structures, conserves water, mitigates climate change, and enhances sustained biodiversity.
World-wide, farmers are discovering that organic farming can be part of the solution.
But, for a change to happen, we need much more research and education in organic agriculture management, and its benefits for food, health, and environment.
The Organic Trust supports projects for consumers, producers, traders and educators.
